Barbora Červenková is a graduate of Theater Studies (Faculty of Philosophy and Art, Charles University in Prague). The world of theater and film has fascinated her since childhood and has been taking in its enchanting atmosphere as an extra since the age of sixteen.
She has been working as a professional in the theater and film industry for more than ten years. Her professional career started with an internship at the Theater of Central Bohemia in Kladno where she also obtained her first official job in the industry as a dramaturgy lecturer.
Since 2003 she has been working as a self-employed professional and has collaborated on various film, TV and theater projects. In the theater season of 2003/2004 she worked as a script editor for the Theater Society of Petr Bezruč in Ostrava. In 2004 – 2006 Barbora collaborated with Jakubisko Film Ltd. and held several key positions during the creation of Juraj Jakubisko’s feature film Bathory.
In 2007/2008 she collaborated with Radim Procházka’s film company Produkce and as an executive producer managed to secure the filming of the documentary series “Štíty království českého”. Later on, Barbora started working with Bio Illusion and collaborated on all the company´s film projects either as a script editor, author, dialogue editor, producer or post producer (more details in section “Filmography“). 2013-2015 Barbora was cooperating with the company AZ Tools.
After ten years of working in the film industry, Barbora has decided to fulfill her life-long dream and add professional make-up to the list of offered services.
